Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) as the referee?

Post by mandhan » Mon Mar 05, 2012 8:50 pm

Hello guys,

I had a question about the professional referee for the naturalization.

Is the CFA (level 1 & 2) considered a professional qualification by UKBA for naturalization reference purposes?

My wife's colleague is CFA level 1 and 2 certified and I was hoping that his reference as a professional will be acceptable by the home office.

Would really appreciate your responses.
Thanks in Advance!

Regards,
mandhan

Given the list off accepted professions: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary

Which of the listed qualifiers do you think applies to the person as there is no generic "professional qualifications" type listing?

Saying that a manager of a VAT registered company is listed and so there is plenty of scope there normally
