Congrats tht u got ur extension approval. I m confused about one thing following documents u've provided as evidence of ur self employed earnings

Earnings Source 2: (Self Employed as a limited company and never paid myself salary or dividends)
Documents Provided:
1) Company (periodic) accounts including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account
2) Accountant letter confirming gross and net earnings for the period claimed
Additional Document Provided:
1) Letter from HM Revenue & Customs confirming the tax period is not due until 30th January 2011

company a/cs and accountants' letter both are from the same source while letter form HMR is just an additional document only and not an evidence of earnings, so how come the HOMEOFFICE accepted two evidences from the same source isn't it strange???

Hello,
Even I work thru my own limited company as engineer.I'm paying myself enough salary to reach the 30k cutoff. Tell me , if a person working by his own limited comapny and paying himself enough salary can produce these docs as proof for earnings,ri8?
1.payslips.( signed and stamped by the accountant)
2.Bank statements.
3.Letter from accountant mentioning the gross pay and the net pay.
as in the below mentioned thread,
http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=49310
it is been discussed about the limited company , and people declared tht they got approvals by just submitting the above mentioned docs.

Seniors, could you please clarify me that if a person working by his own limited company and paying enough salary to himself without taking any dividends is supposed to submit even the BANALANCE SHEET & P/L while applying Tier-1 general????

as far as i know, company accounts are from company not accountant. because even though accountant made the accounts, I was the one who signed company accounts (balance sheet and etc)

As far as I know, if you start to pay yourself a salary then you become the employee of the company and then you have to do it the employee way, that is bank statements+payslip
other may confirm
