ILR Application @Croydon PEO requiring additional documents

Post by ZyRon33 » Tue Mar 06, 2012 7:21 pm

Hi All,

I have been a silent reader of this forum for the past few weeks now and this site is highly recommended...Two thumbs up! Now, let me share my own personal experience during my ILR applicatiion.
Me and my family applied for our ILR on the 12th of January 2012 @ Croydon PEO under Work Permit 5 yrs continous. I have prepared 6 months for this application. After submitting all our documents to the case officer. Every documents was checked thoroughly. She questioned my P60. There are 2 registered company listed which I explained to the officer that the Employer that employed me in the beginning sold majority of their shares to my existing Employer 3 yrs back, so they did a major overhaul (Name changed, admin, policies etc.). The officer said that I need to provide a letter of confirmation from my existing employer showing that they made a technical change with Work Permits UK regarding the name change and gave me a 14 days to submit it back to them. I immediately inform our HR and she said that she will look into it. Two days later HR called and apparently they have not done the technical change. I was very furious and upset (It wasn't her fault, she took over tha HR post 1 yr back). My employer hired a solicitor to look after my case. Supporting documents submitted by the solicitors to UKBA a day before the 14 days alloted date.
It's been more than a month now and i haven't heard anything from them. I am a very patient man but the waiting and not knowing what's happening is like a torture. I hope someone can shed me some answers. Cheers!
