photocopies of documents

Post by Sunimal02 » Wed Mar 07, 2012 11:49 am

Hi,

I am applying ILR week after. I have taken the photocopies of all documents with me and all the copies are black & white (Mono). Do the copies must be colour copies?

Thanks,
Suni

no, black and white copies will do.

For my ILR application last week, they didn't even ask for the copies. But you must still carry them in hand.

They also mention in the form to take the Photocopies, so I would advise to take them with you.

Thanks linkers and ssgs, I have done copies, but those are black and white. In the guidelines it asks photocopies, but not mention whether colour or black & white copies. Hope black & white copies are fine????

Black & white are fine and are accepted in all Govt. Departments including Home Office.

do we need to take copies of EACH and EVERY thing or just we are giving intially to CW ?

like you give payslips bankstatments etc ??

should we do photo copy of extra documents as well ??? mean driving licence, utility bill , lanlord letter even we r not submitting these buy carrying to give to CW if required ?

I would definitely photocopy all the documents I am submitting, whether main documents or some other extra that may or may not be asked by Case worker.

Even if there is no photocopy of any documents your application should still be considered. they can always photocopy documents they need.
But to be on safe side, I will carry photocopy of everything that I carry as original with me to PEO.
