Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General - Dependent Maintenance

Hi,

I am applying to switch from ICT to Tier2 General. There is a question in the PBS dependent application form which asks -

J3. Is the main applicant making an application as:

An initial (switching) application - go to question K2
An extension of his/her existing leave - go to Section L
A result of a change of employment - go to Section L

Can you please let me know which option should I select. My CoS suggest that it is a "CoS for Change of employment" - But I am just wondering if I need to select "An initial (switching) application", as technically I am switching from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General.

Not yet....but will be sending my app soon...my sponsor is still trying to sort out the COS.

I have the same situation as you do and I think it should be option 3 - a result of a change of employment.

Also, I've read point 51 from the pbs dependent policy saying:

"For example, where the Tier 2 Migrant is submitting an application because he/she is changing employment within Tier 2, neither the Tier 2 Migrant nor any family member is required to submit evidence that they meet the maintenance requirement."

Please let me know if you have a definitive answer.
