Help needed - Urgent. ICT to Tier 2 switching - Rollback

Hi,

I am in the this country for 4 year now on ICT visa. A week back I applied for switching my visa from ICT to Tier 2 (General) -The application was approved(yes - for ppl looking at switching - It is possible).

The problem now is - When I submitted my resignation, the current company says they would like to have me here permanently with very very good package.

So the dilemma is that they do not know that i have got switched the visa. They are ready to issue the CoS and extend my visa.

Question - Would I be able to withdraw my approved application
Note: My ICT visa runs out soon(Feb 15th) - I am supposed to start with the new employer on 16th.

Please let me know my options. Appreciate your time.

Sticky situation, Mate. In my view you can't withdraw now since your Tier 2 General appl has already been approved which means that you are sponsored by a new employer from 16th Feb I assume. Therefore, I think you will have to ask your new Tier 2 general employer to withdraw their COS(sponsorship) and send new application for Tier 2 ICT extension with current employer. It's easier to extend Tier 2 ict than switching, but if you are being offered a significant raise then i think your current employer will have to satisfy RLMT. Unfortunately, you don't have much time left. As I am no expert wait to hear from other members.

Is it possible to switch from Tier2 ICT to Tier2 Gen within UK?
How much time it takes?
Could you please share some details as i am planning for this. Please help.
