Confirmation for ILR Process

Hi, we made application for Set(M) at the end of Jan 2012. It was received on 3rd Feb and confirmed around 7th/8th Feb. So far we have been waiting approx 4/5 weeks since the Ack letter. A family friend, who has been through the immigration hoops, said that we will not just get our passports back with my wifes ILR granted and that we would have to go in for an interview???? is this true? will we still have to attend a joint interview? Because judging by the looks of things, its quite the opposite? can someone clarify this PLLLLLEEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSEEEEEE?
