i need some help
i am in uk with fp ineed to apply for resident card my wife need to apply for regestration certifcate as well ? or not need
ihave 5 month left in my passport if my resident card take along time i will have to leave ?

You can apply for residence card as long as your passport is valid. If it's nearly expired, you might consider renewing it first - for simplicity more than anything else. You'll then have a brand new passport and residence card together!
