HI, I ahve sent my psw applicatin on 27th of feb2012. And I havent recieved my acknowledgment letter yet its been mre than 2 weeksnow. Can anybdy suggest me what should I do now? I am a bit worried.

What service did you use to mail your application? If it's recorded you can check.

Has your account been debited for the fee?

no need to worry dear. I never got the acknowledgement and also one of my friend but we got the biometrics after a month. What method you used to pay for the application.

Hello ,
I have appled for my PSW on 08-02-12 and is yet to get my acknowledgement . So even i am puzzled at the delay being happening ....

Hey,

Which method you used for payment?If you know your payment has been taken that is the first step
2nd Step: which method of payment you used to apply? If you have a tracking number so thats great even not it is fine.
Call to UKBA and contact to Biometrics letter information section say to them that its been a long run and have no information. I am sure they will help you .

I have tried contacting many numbers but none is going through.. The royal mail delivery system says that the mail is delivered .. But what suprises me is that the delivery tracker says that some one has received it at 07:45am and added to that ..... my mode of payment is postal order..

can you please let me know the correct number and how should i quote my application ... is it by passport number ???

Since PSW vias will soon be finishing the volumes of applications might have gone up causing this delay.

When you call the HO either quote the Special Delivery Ref Number, or your name , DoB, Post code , Address etc, his will enable them to see if you are on the system

The Contact details are on the form that you filled in and sent to HO, download the form from the website and have a look

How about wait and watch, there is not much you can do anyway, consider that the application volumes might have gone up since this luxury is coming to an end now
