The reason I am writing to you is that I recently lost my passport and was unaware that my Visa had expired consequently I now have no Visa and need urgent assitance in resolving this situation. I'm actually entitled to indefinite leave to remain but the fact that my Visa has expired is complicating my ability to apply as it Immigration here requires me to complete my Visa application from Israel which I am advised will take 8 weeks (it used to be on the spot) and as a business owner this is simply not a viable option for me. Also the fact that my Wife is due to give birth soon means that I must be with her and my family to support them. I have evidence to prove our marriage is genuine and lived together all this time, we have bankstatements and both work - Im an overstayer will they refuse my application automatically? What European human rights do we have or only option is applying SET(M)??
AM I GOINGTO GET REFUSED BECAUSE I OVERSTAYED DO YOU THINK? I DO HAVE MONEY IN THE BANK AND A BUSINESS

You have a strong case based on your children.

My Husband is Israeli, living in the UK for 8.5 years with me a British Citizen, clean history no convictions, 2 dependent children live with us.
Truth is that we could not afford to apply for ILR sooner, anyway his spousal visa expired in December and we didnt realise - Im heavily pregnant, we set up a new business that is doing very well and work all th hours that GD made and totally overlooked teh visa issue, I thought we had a bit longerto sort it anyway what Im trying to establish is with money in the bank, Children, having lived here for so many years and witha busy new business have I ruined our lives by not getting teh application in on time? I am wondering how likely it is that they will reject him just on basis that its a bit late - I am going to send in a letter from our local MP also to support the application, we really put a lot into the community and if he were to be rejected we would be forced as a family to be apart???
Its a nightmare and if rejected I dont think we can even appeal it so Im told - what are your thoughts please
