Using cheque payment !

Post by nkanalyst » Thu Mar 29, 2012 1:18 pm

Dear All,

I am tired of finding an appointment for PEO for tier-1 general extension. If I decide to opt for postal application can someone tell me please more about cheque payment?

Has anybody done the payment through cheque? heard lot of issues regarding debit cards recently because of bank's restriction etc.

Is it advisable to send cheque as it's easy and it is safe as well.

Thanks in advance.

NK.

hi,
I remember paying by cheque at the time of extension and there was no issue with it.It only adds a couple of days before the acknowledgement comes through.

I have done all my payments for initial and recently extension applications using credit card. Only thing is that you will have to call your bank or continue calling bank until payments are processed. This time I instructed my bank every second day for period of 10 days. I never had problems with credit card payment except UKBA took long time to process it recently.

Cheque adds at least 5 days to the whole process. Why don't you pay using Banker's Draft instead.
