I have a question about the IELTS General Training English test. WOuld this be accepted by the UK Embassy as part of a FIance visa does anyone know?

I would be very grateful if anyone knew the answer to this question.

I know it is accepted on the settlement visa so i think so, check the UKBA website for more information. I know it ok for the spouse and partners. and i know for the settlement you need to score 4.0 in each section.

btw does anyone know the address of the IELTS test centre in Islamabad??

I remember it is in some hotel run by the british council? somewhere in F7 but dont have address, anyone who has the exact address?

I was told that a 4.0 or more was only needed in the listening and speaking section not the other two? Is the correct.

Anyone know anywhere online to take the test and get the results as a practise?
