Understanding the bank statement for maintenance fund proof

Hi,

I need some help in understanding whether all the monthly bank statements that i use to cover the 90 days period for maintenance is required to be dated less than 1 month ?

What i mean is - if i am applying on 1st may and have the original bank statements for the month of JAN,FEB,MAR and APR(partial) and all are dated as they were generated i.e. Jan statement is dated 31st jan, Feb dated 29 feb, Mar dated 31st mar and Apr is dated 20th apr...will this be valid and enough to prove the maintenance fund balance for an application on 1st may ?

Or is it required that all of the 4 month statements be dated/generated in Apr if i am applying on 1st may?

I am kind of confused after going through the UKBA guideline. Please help me understand this as i may then have to request last 3 months plus few days statement to be generated again.

you don't need to generate all 4 months' statements in april, normal sequence(what you have) is okay. april needs to be current,earlier months can be dated the month they were received
