Dates of my bank statements, just want to confirm if its ok

Post by rosie877 » Mon Apr 02, 2012 10:46 pm

Here are the (consolidated) statements I'm submitting

1st statement: Nov 18 2011- December 16th 2011

2nd statement: December 17th 2011-January 19th 2012

3rd statement: January 20th 2012-February 16th 2012

4th statement: February 17th 2012-March 16th 2012

My application date is April 5th.

Is this ok?

Despite the raw construction of ur question .. I have taken the time to respond to it. A little appreciation could go a long way and also reading the policy guidance would.

Stan7 what's your point? The most recent statement is not more than a month old.

Dont worry... Cw will check the date of the last statement.... 3 of the statements are sequence of last statement... Last statement should not be older than one month (28 days)

it is the date of the most recent statement that matters.

Sorry for coming across as rude but I was just pointing out the fact that you didn't answer my question, you just regurgitated info that I already knew.

So I guess I can go ahead and apply with these statements then? If they do in fact count backwards then I guess I have met and surpassed the 90 day requirement..

yes as long as the stmts include all of the features as set out in the policy guidance. Do you have a closing balance for 16th march?

Yes it meets all the other requirements and yes there's a section that shows the 'ending balance' for March 16th.

By the way thank you for being so helpful.

For applications made either in the United Kingdom or overseas, all evidence must be dated no more than one month before the application is submitted.

Normally a month would correspond to 28-31 days. I haven't seen 28 days mentioned in the guidance, all it says is one calendar month, you will be fine.

Eventhough they have mentioned in the guideline, they normally consider 28 days, but u dont need to worry about that, bcoz i read in this forum that one of the member got rejected for the reason that his statement is 29 days old.

But he appealed against their decision and got approved. So u dont need to worry about that, u will be fine. Good luck.
