Financial earning documents for Tier1 Dependent Visa?

Post by Venkat Reddy » Mon Apr 02, 2012 3:19 pm

Hi

I am currently on Tier 1 Visa and planning to apply for my wife dependent visa in May 2012 from India after marriage. From last 2 years onwards I am working as an IT contractor through my own limited company so just wondering what documents I have to submit to prove financial earnings

I am planning to submit:

1.Company Profit & lost statement for last one year
2.P60 for last one year (minimum salary, every month £580)
3.ACCA approved accountant letter to confirm minimum salary & dividends.
4.Last 3 months personal bank statement to show dividends payments.

Above docs will be enough or need to submit anything else? Please advice me.

Thanks in advance.

I do not think you need to submit your company Profit & "LOSS" accounts etc. What they ask for is a proof to

1 subsisting relation proof - Marriage Certificate n your case
2 Maintenance funds - Your bank statement showing £633 per dependent
3 Accommodation status - Usually a land registry document (if you won the house) or Tenancy Agreement
An [Expensive] Immigrant journey has ended 19/08/2015. Good luck to you all out there...

Venkat,

Include all documents as already mentioned by you. In addition include the following:

1) Marriage Certificate
2) Marriage Invitation Card
3) Marriage Photographs
4) Maintenance Funds (I guess u'd be using your current / personal account) £600 per dependant
5) Sponsorship Letter - This is a letter from the main applicant stating that he / she wishes to sponsor his / her partners travel and stay in UK.
6) Cover letter by dependant
7) Tenancy Agreement
8 Copies of main applicants passport and Visa / BRP

Hi,
I'm looking for my visa extension and working as IT contractor from last july under my limited company, my accountant has given me the letter explaining my gross & net salary, gross and net dividend and gross income (which doesn't include expense), & expense rembursed.
also the income schedule explaining the salary, dividend, expense reimbursed, date & amount credited in my account.

But the issue is if we take the salary & dividend, then their total didn't match with my bank statement in few cases, as in some cases expense is also reimbursed in same transaction.

So I need to know if this will be an issue.

Please suggest.

This will be an issue as the payments and bank statement should match. In case they don't, get a letter from the accountant explaining the payments and write a cover letter yourself.
