Bank statements

Hi All...

Just a quick query about the bank statements to be used for the visa renewal.

I have ordered duplicate statements from HSBC phone banking. The statements that I have received have "Duplicate" written on top of them.

Am just wondering if they are fine on their own or I need to get them validated by the bank with a supporting letter.

Hoping to get a clarification quickly. Thanks a lot.

They should have all your details and carry the original HSBC logo. Check Guidance on evidence needed

Hey... thanks a lot for replying mate.

Yes they are identical to the original statements that I get i.e. they have the HSBC logo and all my details and are even on the same thick paper, but for the Duplicate written in bold on the top.

I sort of understand from the guideance that these should work. But just want to confirm if that is common understanding.
