Tier 1 genaral extension needs some help.....

hi all ....

I am on tier 1 General.... i applied for it at the end of 2008... i was given Tier 1 genaral in 2009....i came to UK and started work for NHS as registrar. i spent couple of weeks in ISLE of MAN, it was less than three months... i have extension due in on 4th june 2012... I have a few queries....

1....I have 4 dependants my wife and 3 kids.... how much should i show for maintenance and visa fee?

2.... do i have to show visa plus maintenance fee or just the same amount i got?

3.... will that ISLE of MAN stay effect my ILR in the future...

Maintenance: £800 + £533 + £533 + £533 if you apply before 4th June

Fee: £1500 + £750 + £750 + £750 (Postal)

£1800 + £900 + £900 + £900 (PEO)

Maintenance only. Visa fee could be separate but you shouldn't be taking the visa fee from the same Maintenance amount shown as UKBA can verify with the bank. In short, you should have Maintenance + Fee amount but you just need to show the Maintenance amount

3.... will that ISLE of MAN stay effect my ILR in the future...

Not completely sure. As far as I know you need a separate work permit to work in Isle of Man, if that's the case then to apply for ILR, you should complete 5 yrs in UK and to do that you might have to extend second time before applying for ILR.

Isle of Man is not a part of the UK. UK takes care of its external and defence affairs, and retains paramount power to legislate for the island. ILR clearly states that you need to have spend 5 consecutive years in the UK to qualify for ILR. Per Sam suggested, you most likely will need second extension. However, in case of ILR, CW have discretion they can use for upto 3 months late arrival to the UK (once EC been issued). I am not entirely sure around this clause but you might just get slip through under the radar.

As you have 4 dependants (I believe quicksam mentioned only for 3 dependants) it should be

Maintenance: £800 + £533 + £533 + £533 + £533 if you apply before 4th June

Fee: £1500 + £750 + £750 + £750+ £750 (Postal)

thank you all for the very important inofrmation...

let me give some more information about my holidays after getting Tier 1 Genaral..

after getting it we entered UK after 58 days.... visa was issued 4th of JUNE...

we entered to the UK 31st JULY 2009.... then my family was here and i was away from the UK for 2 and half months in 2009..

1st SEPTEMBER 2009 to 15th NOVEMBER 2009...

I was also away from 17th AUGUST 2011 to 8th SEPTEMBER 2011

ISLE OF MAN 3rd JANUARY 2011 to 24TH MARCH 2011

I need to know if i need another extension before ILR

the shortest answer in my opinion is that you WILL NEED the extension before ILR

how many dependants form should i fill 1 or 4 ?

can any one provide me links of the forms for TIER 1 GENERAL please ?

it will clarify my situation about TIER 1 general extension forms...

You need dependent form for each of them
