Tier 2 Change of Sponsor..Urgent!!!!

Hi Friends,

I came to the UK on a tier 2 Visa in Feb 2012 end. I was not happy with my present sponsor so started looking for change and have now found a new company willing to sponsor me. I wanted to know can I change the sponsor? Is there a time limit only after which I can change a sponsor? Please help and let me know any details I should be aware of.

You can change. You'll have to go through the usual steps that are necessary to sponsor a migrant worker.

Thanks Lucapooka. So does that mean there is no minimum time only after which I can apply for a change. As I mentioned earlier, I came in Feb, so its been only 2 months, hence my query.

Also, if in case the new sponsor's visa request is rejected does it in anyways affect the visa that I have. The reason I ask is because I will resign only after I get my new visa and hence wanted to be sure.

I am also in the same sailing boat. I have come here two months ago and wanted to change my sponsor, as i am not comfortable.

Is there any chance that the current employer come to know about change of sponsor? if yes at what stage or level of the process?
