bank statements on letterhead but no stamp

Post by krssubbu » Fri Apr 13, 2012 9:47 pm

hi,

i am doing my wife's and chld settlement visa. looks for the month of jan i had receved two statments (1st to 15th jan and 16th to 31st jan). I seem to have the second set but not the first one (1st to 15th jan). I have ordered one but seems like its going to take time.

in the meantime the branch has printed out a statement on a sheet that has hsbc logo on it with my acc no, sort code and name with the transactions. - IT DOES NOT HAVE STAMP OR SEAL JUST HSBC LOGO AND HSBC WRITTEN ON IT - is this enough ? (the branch cant stamp and seal i beleive)

thanks

This should be fine. If you want to make an extra effort (you don't have to) maybe you can get a name card of the manager of the branch so that they can contact the manager directly should they wish to verify. Just a thought :)
