i don't understand why you have posted in this very old thread which is not relevant to your query.makkan00 wrote:I know this is very old topic but my question is on same lines therefore thought to ask it here.
I am on Tier 1 (general) immigration status with my Mrs and daughter (born here) as my tier 1 dependents here.
My ILR is coming in 2013, however due to unfortunate circumtances, I have been involved in car accident. I have been told that I may be prosecuted in court for careless driving.
After discussing with solicitor, I have been told that I can get some fine and 3-9 points on my driving license.
Now if that happens, it will become 'unspent' conviction on my history and as we have to disclose it on ILR application, my ILR application will become unsuccessful.
Considering

I have to wait for 5 years from the conviction prooved in the court, in order to make ILR application successful.
Now putting all these consquences on my family, my questions are
1- When my second extension of Tier 1 general expires, will I be able to extend my Tier 1 extension?
2- What is best route for my family members? Should they stay as my dependents of Tier 1, or shall they apply for FLR? What is max length of FLR granted?
Looking forward to hear from you.
Many thanks.
