Raj,

They consider the conversion rate on the day they process our case but as due to long wait time involved, they consider the historical information provided with your app for the conversion rate of the period you applied for. They use http://www.oanda.com/ for the conversion.

If you are closeby the figure where u score a point, they are flexible enough to reward you for the same.

Hope this help.

Afzal

Dear Afzal,

closly means how closly, the required salary to claim point is 5000 ponds and if they consider the conver rate before i became full time student then my earning is 5100 pounds but if they consider the conversion rate on the date i applied HSMP then it comes to 4725 pounds it means a difference of 275 pounds , if they choose to use the exchange rate on the date I applied i.e. 4725 ,do u think they can be flexible to give me points for salary.

where as if I convert my salary on the conversion rate of today it would be somewhere around 4,250.

please tell me your opinion.

Raj,

I feel your salary section is fully dependent on the evidence and conversion you presented them with your app. So if you already have submitted it lesser then GBP 5000 then I dont think they will count your points even its been increased to this amount due to increase in your currency. But otherway, if you scored GBP 5000 while applying due to your currency, and when they started processing they noticed that due to current rate conversion your salary is going lesser the 5k then they may take this as currency rate inflation and give you points.

I hope this help.
Regards,
Afzal
