ILR for dependants

Post by grattan » Sun Apr 22, 2012 11:25 pm

Hiya,

I came to the UK on June 23, 2007 on a company sponsered work permit. I am still in employment with the same company but had to apply for Tier 2 visa in September 2011 basis my promotion within the same company.
At this time, my dependants (Wife and son- 21 yrs , daughter 19 yrs) were also re-issued biometric cards and visa as my dependants.

Now I am due for my ILR application and intend to make it at Glasgow PEO around the end of May 2012.

My question is that since my wife and kids entered UK in August 2007, whereas I entered on June 23, 2007, are the entitled to apply for ILR on the same day as me (in May 2012)?

I think they can but still would appreciate confirmation from this forum. Both my kids are enrolled full time in UK universities.

Thanks

Yes (319E & 319J. KOL required for all adult applications). Adult children requires separate forms.

Good day Vinny,

Thanks for the guidance. Since my kids are over 18 yrs, they will be making individual applications. However just a quick clarification---- since my dependants arrived in the UK almost about 2 months after my entry, can they apply for ILR at the same time?

The question may sound silly, as I do think that my wife will be making application on my form, correct?

Thanks in advance.
