Hi all, my name is deena, i had applied for a settlement dependant ukvisa on 29 of feb and when i check my status it always says under process!!
is this delay cos of the olympics?
could anybody tell the processing time for the settlement dependant visa??

The average processing times are available on the UKBA site. You would need to enter the name of the location where you applied.

No news!! am soooooo upset its already more than 40 working days
I got married in the month of dec 2011, my husband left me the same month in a weeks time, i din c him since then waiting desperatly for the visa.

It may say 'a minimum of 40 days'...meaning no sooner than 40 days...but applications made in India often take 3 months or more to process.
Deena, today you're only on your 38th working day since the application was received. There was an Easter holiday break since your application was submitted.

Ravikd got a status update on Friday - Application sent back to application centre, they might be either picking it up today or tomorrow I think, so you might hear in the next few days I reckon..... He applied on the 22nd and heard on Friday, so just over 40 days i think for him.

I dont understand wats happening!!! i applied on 29th of feb for a settlement dependant uk visa in chennai and still waiting with the status saying visa application under process,,y dont i get any updates at all, frustrated and annoyed,almost 50 working days are over. could someone help me please!!!!!!!!!
Are there any possibilities of rejection after these many days? hope all my documents are considered keenly!!

Its more than 53 days now,i did not hear anything from them, kinda nervous now, what is the maximum num of days it could take? ravik got it over 40 days,i was so encouraged by that, thinking the same wld happen for me:-(

Deena it has been less than 11 weeks since you applied and there has been 3 bank holidays during that time. If you look at the processing times on the ukba website you will see that they aim to decide 95% of applications within 12 weeks and 100% within 24 weeks. You need to be patient and wait a bit longer.
