Post by hsmp2006 » Wed Nov 22, 2006 3:51 pm

All

I am travelling to Belfast during first week of December. Flying by Emirates till London. Can get to either Heathrow or Gatwick.

Which airport is convenient to catch a connecting flight to Belfast, NI. Also, please let me know few good sites where I can book tickets online.

Thanks,
Amjad.

For a connecting flight to Belfast, Heathrow is recommended.

Amjad, you have already booked your Emirates flight? If not, do not overlook that Emirates also fly to Birmingham, and yes, it is possible to fly from Birmingham to Belfast.

Is it possible to fly to Belfast on a full service airline (eg British Midland) or only a low cost airline?

A full service airline, preferably with a through ticket, is usually better for a connecting flight.

Amjad, you could try a site such as www.opodo.co.uk and feed in your departure airport and also Belfast, and let it work out what route might be best, or possible.
