TOEFL instead of IELTS?

Hi,
Does anyone now if the HO wil accept TOEFL results instead of the IELTS. I took the computer based test in July 2004 and got 270.


Please let me know if you have a link wherre I can find more information. I haven't found anything on the HP website.

Here is the reply I just got from the Home Office.

Dear Applicant

Thank you for your email. We only accpet IELTS or a Bachelors degree
with proof that it was taught in English.
