Maintenance Funds -- Help please

Post by saqib389 » Sat Apr 28, 2012 11:00 pm

Hi Guys,

I am planning to apply in August 2012 and i have Tier 1 Visa at the moment.

I will be going for a Extension in August 2012 with my wife who is my dependent as Tier 1 General (Dependent)

According to the new rules as per this link: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... ce-changes

I have been in the UK from the last 2 years and my wife just came 4 months ago.

According to the rules here: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... ce-changes

Can you please suggest how much do i have to maintain for myself and for my dependent ?

Thanks
Shaz

Well, the link you have provided gives a price for the PBS migrant who is already in the UK (just like you), and it also gives a price for the dependant of the PBS migrant in situations where the PBS migrant has been in the UK for more than 12 months (just like you). So add those two numbers together and that is the total maintenance you need to show.

You can't add the two amounts; or you can't identify the two amounts?
