Hi All,
I applied from London in Oct 05 and since now have not heard anything. Does anybody know how long it might take? anybody who applied from UK? pls advise.

You have at least 12 - 24 months to wait before you will hear from them. They are currently processing applications received in September 04. The wait times for London (AOR's) have increased to 45 months and beyond currently.

I am afraid in a year's time you would receive a revised processing time update due to delays and the volume of applications.

I hope you have lots of patience. We applied April 04, received AoR June 04, still waiting for medicals !!!! submitted other onfo earlier this year, but still no sign of anything, so if CIC are currently processing Sept 04 what happened to us ?

I warn you now this is a VERY VERY frustrating process !!!!

thanks all for yr replies. i recvd my AOR within a week but no news since then. so we just have to wait & see i suppose, all in a big que. u mentioned that y r waiting for medical. does it mean u have passed the process and if u pass the medical, then u can go there. is that right?

Hope you saw my last post re medicals etc. Yes, assuming the doc says we are ok and we have no reason to think otherwise we should be soon on our way.

I don't think the medicals are issued until all the other matters have been dealt with, it is if you like the last part of the process, so a slight sigh of relief, although we will be much happier when we receive the passport requests !!
