conversion rate on the date of last payslip

Post by freebirds » Sat Nov 25, 2006 5:28 am

Hi,

This is a simple question which everybody who had applied/approved HSMP.

I have been tracking the pound rate since a month. It was 84 a month ago and then 85 and now 86.111 as of today.

I read the caseworker manual before the changes were made and it said the conversion rate as per the last pay slip will be considered in calculating the 7500pounds per annum salary.

now my sal is 650000 and as per today conversion rate it comes to 7555 pounds. am planning to apply on dec 1st where i will receive my 12th month payslip. so, though the sal paid on 30 or 1st, pay slip might come on 2 or 3rd. so what will the case worker consider...is it date of salary payment as per bank account or date on the payslip.
i think it is obvious that if the pound rate is more in december 1st week, and if i donot meet the criteria of 7500 pounds, i think i may not be eligible to work.
pl let me know what iam thinking is correct ? pl advise
thanks
