Hi, has anyone received any acknowledgement or BRP invitation letter from HO applied on 04-04-12? I did mine on this date, received by HO on 05-04-12 but I have not hear anything yet. Please update. Thank you.

4th and 5th April should get a response next week I believe as 3rd April applications got their fee deducted this week from their accounts. So hope for the best. By the way I applied on 5th so all the best guys, keep posting your updates.

hi all i have applied my PSW on 4 april and money was deducted in my account on 08/05/12 expecting acknowledgement within three days

Hi there, I am glad that your application is being processed now. I paid using postal order so I have no way to know if they have start processing. Hopefully we will all get the ack letter soon. Please keep posted your update. Thanks!

Applied on 4th April, but have not received the ack. Money is also not deducted.

Has your documents received by HO?
By the way, I have no clue for mine as well because I paid using postal order. It is so worrying but I believe we will be fine.

You can call and check about your postal orders have been cashed or not at post office postal order team on numbers 01246542091 and 01246542500 by giving the serial number on the receipt.

Hi Tier 4. thank you for your reply. Eventually, I called post office customer care twice regarding this matter. For the first time the staff transferred my call to royal mail. The second time they told me this cannot be done through the phone. That was really annoying! Anyway thanks for the number. I will call them and ask about the postal order. Apart from that, I don't really know what I should do with this visa thingy....

received by UKBA on 29th march 2012
got the acknowledgement on 17th april 2012
got the Biometric letter dated 9th may 2012
Given biometric on 11th may 2012

nOw waiting for visa...

does any one knows how much time they will take after biometric???

and is biometric a clue or any sort of assurance to get the visa approved???

please advice

Well, on that given number person took less than a minute to tell me that my Postal order has been cashed when and by who.

applied on 3/4/12
ack received 8/5/12

ack letter received but fee still not deducted , gave details for my credit card ,called my bank and they confirmed that no one even attempted to get the money.
this process is full of stress .. any advice ppl ?/

Hey fast love, I don't really know what's going on but as long as you received letter from HO, I think that will be fine as they have already start processing your application. The plus side is your bank hasn't rejected any payment. I think they will deduct your money soon. Meanwhile. make sure you keep sufficient fund in the bank so it will be ready when HO take it from your card.

This is just my opinion, hope some other peoples can help you further.

Biometric is in no ways an assurance that your visa is coming, everyone submits biometrics, the consideration process starts after this!
Given the current trends, the minimum waiting time is from around 5 weeks to god knows how long! But hey, keep the faith alive, you never know what surprises lie in store for you !

If all the necessary documents are satisfied ( for ex. PSW uni letter, mba degree transcripts, mba certificate) -- for others , their respective marksheets or degree certificates from uni or college) 90 days £ 800 maintanence, visa fee payment £ 594 (bankers draft/post office/cheque/credit card/debit card) in my case its bankers draft because i dont want them to say payment is not cleared.. bankers draft is 100% fine, you'll get a acknowledgement letter with your dd copy as soon as ukba bank your dd, 2 passport size photograph (correct size- format))... this is what they want..

If every thing is right, even if they delay, one day or the other they have to grant visa .. Is nt it.?

If they still delay for months , after 6 months of your application , just say they decline.. ya, then with all your docs you can go to court..

If not there is no justice man..
