Congratulations for your ILR.
Can you post what does your ILR approval letter exactly says?
I received mine one day before you and the letter doesnot specifically mention wording to the effect that
"your ILR is approved from (date)", it just says that you will receive BRP in post within 7 days.
That's all.

FYI, here is the content from my approval letter.

Re: Mr XXX, Country Name & Date of Birth
I am returning the enclosed passport(s) and other documents which you provided in support of
your application. A Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) will be sent to you and your dependant(s)
under separate cover. You should receive your permit(s) within 7 worlung days. However, if you
do not receive the perrnit(s) within 10 working days of the date of this letter, please e-mail
BRPDeliverv@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk providing your full name, date of birth, nationality, case
reference number and contact telephone number.

Please note that on delivery the courier will require proof of identity and a signature to
confirm receipt of the package.
You are advised not to make anv travel arranpements until vou have received your
Biometric Residence Permit.
The Biometric Residence Permit is a card which holds your biographic and biometric
information and shows your immigration status and entitlements while you remain in the United
Kingdom. The card replaces the vignette (or sticker) and ink stamps previously placed in the
passports of those granted permission to remain in the United Kingdom. A leaflet would
accompany the card which would give you more information about it.
On receipt of the permit you must check it carefully to make sure that all details on it are
correct. If you find a mistake, please e-mail
BRPError@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk within 10
working days of receiving the permit providing your full name, date of birth, nationality,
case reference number, contact telephone number and exact details of what is wrong
with the BRP.
