Bank statement as earning evidence?

Post by RoseZid » Tue Dec 05, 2006 10:07 am

iam seeing ppl from India showing the bank statement as earning proof.
But bank statement will be having the amount after the tax was deducted.
Example if the actual sal for a mnth = X and tax = t
then bank statement will have Y = X-t.

Then how come we can use this as one of the proof.

submit your tax returns (they will cover till march) and then salary slips for the rest of the year accompanied with a salary certificate from HR saying your salary break-up for the year.

good luck..

Under the new guidelines, you can attach bank statements only when you are seeking "exceptional circumstances" e.g.- not attaching IT returns !!

If one can get enough points with their "net" salary itself, I see no harm in attaching bank statements (under exceptional circumstances).

It is given in the evidence list...and moreover with sal slip or letter of employer stating sal paid...matching ur bank statements..

It all makes a strong proof...coz one cannot have matching figures of 12 months, and that too a entry as Salary...
