Tier 1 Extn approved with overseas income

Post by sts96508 » Mon May 21, 2012 1:57 pm

biometrics enrolled on 13-April. approval date 17-May. no dependants. salaried. 8 months UK salary, 3 months India salary(separate job)

current address in Northern Ireland but not asked to fill up DAT1 form(only relevant for people who have lived in Northern Ireland)

judging from timeline(biometric date), verification checks were not done, as I got my docs back same as others who enrolled biometrics around this time.

Thanks all!

Good! Congrats.

I have submitted application with part overseas earnings, and your success gives me re-assurance :)

Congrats mate! I knew when you said your application is on its way, that it would be an approval. they wouldnt waste a special delivery otherwise :).
One another note, can you create a post with 'Frequently Asked Question: Overseas Earnings' which will help others. As over the last few months, I have noticed many post queries around overseas earnings. You never know, the moderators might turn it into a sticky note.
Congrats once again mate!

I had included a pre-paid special delivery envelope, applicants have the option of doing this. UK BA sends by recorded mail if sd envelope is not included in the package.

applying with overseas earnings is nothing different, all the info is there in the guidance. still, i may put together my experience in more detail and make another post
