Once you receive the approval you have to file your application for EC in india within six months. SO better utilize that time to search job or grow your network.

If you are working in a filed where the demand is more than supply then it would be quite easy to get the job.

* Go to any job site like reed.co.uk or monster.co.uk and search for jobs.
* Register with local job hunters (read consultants)
* Network with friends, ex-colleagues, school.college friends, neighbors etc. and ask for openings in the industry you are looking for.
* Try any other innovative way to find leads and openings in your industry of choice.

UK employer normally dont considers job app unless u have a valid visa..So get approval first....

For ur info, u can check job scenerio at no of sites...go to google and search for good job sites...like totaljobs.com , itjobswatch.co.uk. reed.co.uk
