We went to Croydon in the morning, just 30 minutes before our appointment time. Security check, payment and biometric, all done within an hour. Waited there until 2pm, suddenly fire alarm went off, everyone had to leave the building. We were told to return an hour later. By 3pm, re-entered the building after security check. Finally at 4pm, number called, we were told that our case wouldn't be reviewed that day. Passports and supporting documents were taken. Approval letter received today via Royal Mail SD from Sheffield PEO.

What is ROD? I'm not aware of it. Will i need to go Croydon peo for it?Ish wrote:@"ajs" - If you go to ROD, collection dept, they should be able to tell you the status of your application. I did the same to check the status.

ROD is the place where you collect the documents. In my case it was good that I had been there to check the application status, only after that I came to know that they have sent a letter requesting for additional docs, till now I have not received that letter, but I managed to sent the documents and got it approved.ajs wrote:What is ROD? you will need to go to usual entrance and then ask for ROD. They will give you a RED Tag marked ROD Desk. Then go through security and wait in queue. Usually its counter 4 or 7guddu84 wrote:where is ROD, please advice the address and contact details. I have been waiting for my visa fo a month now.
