I heard that UKBA has backlog of lots applications and hence the reason for the delay. The matter of fact, you are only allowed to submit up to 1000 Tier 2 applications in a month. Hopefully things would get better in future.

The approval letter usually comes long before the biometric card.
I did my biometrics on 28 Feb, my approval letter on 28 March, and it's not 1 June and I am still waiting for my biometric card.

What must I do if my biometric residence permit is not delivered?

update on UKBA website.
We are currently considering applications where the applicant attended a biometric appointment on or before 7 May 2012.

Hi Everyone,
I am also in same boat as you. I have submitted my biometrics on 21st April 2012 and still waiting for an answer. The UKBA website shows that they are currently considering applications on which applicant submitted biometrics on or before 7th May. Before this it was 28th April so they must have considered the applications of 21st april, then only they started dealing with application of later date than 28th april.
It is really very stressing and the worst thing is that you can not track your application at all.

At least you got some sort of reply, in terms of approval letter and your documents. We have done our biometrics b4 you and still waiting. As far as your BRP is concerned you should contact home office because its been 10 days since you received your documents, and now you can chase your BRP.
Wish you all the luck and hope you can attend your wedding.

Please refrain from generic chat - post when there is an "update" - as the subject title states.

Well today's day is effectively gone. Because special delivery is b4 1PM and I haven't got anything yet so I am relying on next week, now
I don't know how long it will take
