Applying Indian Passport For new born from India

Post by mkanagar » Wed Jun 13, 2012 11:41 am

Hi,
I am not sure if this is the right thread for this topic.
Please move it to the right one if this not the right one.

If we have to apply for indian passport for new born from India, is there any requirement that address in both parent passports should be same?

Also my name is not mentioned as her husband in her passport.

We only have our marriage certificate. is this enough to apply indian passport for our baby from india?

And we are on independent visas. My wife has PR and i am on Tier-1.

Can you please advice. Thanks.

1. No.
2. Not required.
3. Refer to the form and guidance, available here. See also NOC for baby born in India.
