Dependant visa after my ILR

Post by Sufi2 » Fri Jun 15, 2012 12:51 pm

I just got my ILR after 5yrs WP, my spouse had WP dependant visa and was out of the country on his work at the time so he did not switch his visa the same time i changed status here. My spouse will be coming back to UK on his old visa and I wondered if we should expect to encounter problems to his entry since I am not on WP any more? Anyone with this experience?

It's entirely possible she will have a problem but it entirely depends on the questions (if any) that are asked on her arrival. Does anyone know if PBS Dependant leave is automatically updated in the UKBA database with any changes that occur with the PBS leave on which it is dependant?

thank you - we remain positive and hope for the best. We plan to change from dependent to ILR
