payslips required for flr(m)?

Post by ajs » Thu Jun 14, 2012 9:42 am

Do we need payslips if applying for FLR(M)?

My husband will be applying for FLR(M) soon, and all we were thinking should be sufficient is that:
• Savings account statements
• UKNARIC certificate showing bachelors degree done is English medium etc
• Marriage certificate
• Utility bill which has both our names
• Spouse’s passport & BRP card

You'll need to submit evidence of income, which if the applicant or sponsor is employed, would be in the form of pay slips.
What category of visa is your husband extending from?

thanks Casa.

I recently got ILR and so he would be switching from Tier1 general to FLR(M).

We both are 50-50 shareholders of limited company, so payslips, dividend vouchers and accountant letter are sufficient? should be okay if I use the same ones that I used for my ILR appl? or it defo has to his documents?

You'll need to submit evidence of both of your finances.

My husband and i take about £1000 as salary and the remaining as dividends.
(for financial year 2012 we haven't taken any, the last divi was in feb)
so will it be sufficient if we show both our payslips & bank statements for past 6 months (and p60 if required)? along with savings account statements ?

we dont want to show the dividend vouchers / accountant letter and want to keep it simple is he'll be applying thru Glasgow peo.
When I was making my ILR in glasgow peo, they couldnt take my application stating reason they dont have any senior officials to deal with limited company earnings cases.

So by keeping dividend vouchers and letter from accountant, it worries me glasgow peo give will give same reason and may not take the case further.

Post by ajs » Fri Jun 22, 2012 4:53 pm

My husband has FLR(M) peo appointment next week.

Is it mandatory that I should also be attending the appointment along with him? Or just applicant can attend the appointment ?

If you cannot attend, you'll need to provide an explanation in writing for the applicant to take along and present to the caseworker.

People will respond if and when they wish to.
There are numerous posts already available detailing the documentary evidences other people have submitted for a FLR(M) application. So, make an effort and do a search.

Thanks for the reply sushdmehta.

We did do a search on the documentary evidences other people have submitted for a FLR(M) application, but only concern being is apart from payslips, bank statements and P60 will we need to supply any other supporting document as my husband and I are 50-50 shareholders ?

Other than that I think we got all documents correct.

Post by ajs » Thu Jun 28, 2012 9:57 am

• Two Passport Size Photographs

2. Proof of English Language Requirement
• Original Bachelor's Degree Certificate
• UKNARIC certificate confirming Degree was taught in English and equivalent to UK Bachelor's degree

3. Finances
• Current accounts statement of applicant & spouse
• 4 months (limited company) payslips of applicant & spouse showing £900-£1000 per month in individual earnings
• P60 for 2011-2012 of applicant & spouse
• Savings account statement of applicant & spouse

4. Accommodation
• Tenancy Agreement
• Council Tax bills (2010-2012)

5. Spouse Documents
• Passport (Indian)
• BRP card
• One Passport-size Photograph

6. Proof of Relationship
• Marriage Cerificate
• Wedding Pictures

7. Other Supporting Documents
• NHS medical cards

Other supporting documents we carried but didn't submit:
• Companies house certificate & Shareholder certificate
• Previous Dividend vouchers
• Self assessment tax filing for 2011-2012
• Letter from accountant confirming our income for the 4 months
• Spouse's ILR approval letter

The caseworker took only our passports, bachelor's degree & Naric certificate, payslips, current acc statements, marriage certificate, council tax bills, tenancy agreements and returned all the other documents.

We had the appointment yesterday in Glasgow PEO at 11:30, in 2 hrs got the approval. It was very quite yesterday, looked like there were hardly any appointments.

Wishing good luck to all the other members.
