Once FLR(HSMP) or Initial HSMP is submitted, usually one receives an acknowledgement and reference number. In my case, I did not receive an acknowledgement, but when I requested through Email, I received my reference number. What does a reference number mean? Does it mean that payment has been cleared, and a valid application has been made?
Do all the candidates (FLR(HSMP) or Initial HSMP) receive acknowledgement and reference number for their applications?
For those who are applying for FLR, and if the current leave is expiring soon, it is necessary to have a proof that a valid application for FLR has been made, for continuing to stay until the decision on FLR application is provided by HO.
