Still waiting on Biometrics letter -8weeks after application

Hi. My wife and I sent her application SET (M) on 26th April, Payment was taken on 10th May and I received a letter of reciept a few days later.

We are still waiting on a letter to enable my wife to have her Biometric info taken? Should it take this long?

Any help on this question greatly appreciated :)
