Post by PK » Thu Jun 14, 2012 10:41 pm

Hi Everyone,

Couple of queries

1) For 10 years long residency how many days maximum anyone can stay out of UK

(i ) at a time and

(i) in total in 10yrs time ?

I travelled a lot . A bit worried about my number of days out of UK . Appreciate if anyone give me a quick answer .

2) After getting ILR , how long can somebody stay out of UK at a time ? I heard after getting ILR if somebody stay out of UK more than two years his ILR gets cancelled .Is it true ?

Appreciate if somebody answers my quiries .

Till date you have been granted:
1. settlement as an HSMP migrant in Jun. 2010.
2. settlement under long residence in Mar. 2011.
3. British citizenship in Oct. 2011.

So why are you applying for settlement a third time?
And, having applied for settlement under long residence in 2011, are you not aware of the number of absences allowed?
