Timeline delays

Timeline delays

I Found the following on gerrys site today
GERRY’S IN PAKISTAN wrote:20 June 2012: Delays in making decisions on applications to live permanently in the UK (‘settlement applications’).

Our global customer service standard for settlement applications is to make decisions on most applications within 12 weeks and all applications within 24 weeks. Please note that due to a significant increase in the number of applications being received, we are currently experiencing a delay in making decisions on settlement applications. We are still making decisions on most applications within 12 weeks, but many applications are taking longer to resolve, which means that it may take up to 24 weeks for a decision to be made. We are working hard to minimise the impact on customers, and apologise for any inconvenience.
Hope it's not off topic as it will effect the timeline, unfortunate but true!

Do you really think this is irrelevant to this thread ?

You better go back to school ?
Rehan Arain , This thread is only for timeline for the spouse visa application filed from Pakistan. Can you kindly look for your answer in the thread like :

Sticky: Family Migration: New rules to be introduced from 09-Jul-12

Kindly try to keep your cam and avoid condescension vocabulary. Thank you

Today my wife received email from visaenquiries.islamabad@fco.gov.uk. it has been 19 weeks already let see how much time they need more....Anyway they replied saying,

Dear Mrs XXXXX

Thank you for your email of 19/06/2012, enquiring about the progress of your visa application. I can confirm that the application is currently being processed but we cannot make a decision until all of our checks have been completed. We will do this as soon as we can. You can track the progress of your application at the Visa Application Centre (Gerry’s) website at www.ukvacpk.com .

hi guys,

me and my brother applied for our spouse visa together on the same date and we both work in the same place, and also live at the same address. so basicly our documents are more or less identical.

So this morning got a call from bhc, first they called my mobile 3 times but as i was at work could not answer, they then contacted my work to speak with me, however i was stuck on a call so could not speak with them. they then asked my employer that my brother is a manager and i am an operator so why are we earning the same as we have different job titles, and secondly asked whther we are registered with hmrc. my emplyer stated we have different job roles but doesnt necessarily mean that he should earn anymore than her as he is a general manager. he then asked to speak with me, my boss tried my line but was engaged and asked bhc to call back. they said they will but they still havent. they also asked to speak with my brother but he hadnt started his shift yet. now im waiting for a call back, but i have a feeling they wont.

im getting realy worried now, what if they refuse the visa over the confusion of the wages. im quite scared i dont want it where both are visas get refused.

Proof of employment
Theses are not all required, however it would help if you submit them all with your application.

1. 3-6 months Payslips
2. Letter from employer
3. 3-6 monthsBank statements showing salary going in to your account from employer

4. Taxe paye coding notice (p2)
5. P60
