hello/salaam
i just want to know that i earn approx 20,000 gross annual salary and i also have 1 child which means i need to earn 22,400 gross annual salary but i also have savings around 23k. can i still apply as i have high amount of savings.
please help?

these immigration people are doing my head in now as i have been suffering from them since jan 2009.
first it was english then age now salary.

So you have a £2400 shortfall in your earnings.

You need to be able to show that amount times 2.5 = £6000 above £16000.

So you need at least £22,000 in savings, which have been held for at least 6 months.

So assuming that all that £23,000 is in CASH savings and you've had that money for 6 months - you qualify.
