c-visit in 5 years, can I claim for my ILR ?

Post by response_srini » Fri Jul 20, 2012 2:54 pm

Hi,

I would have continuous 5 years of stay in UK by Feb 2013. I came on intra company transfer initially on a c-visit and then on work permit. Later I switched to Tier 1. I will be completing my 5 years by Feb 2013.

My question is am I eligible for ILR ?

Thank you.

You count five years from the date of entry under your Work Permit. You can't include any time spent as a visitor.
