Urgent - Unable to contact British High Commision Mumbai.

Post by ref123 » Tue Jul 31, 2012 9:27 am

Dear Forum Members

I had submitted an online IAFT2 appeal on 9th July 2012 to First Tier Tribunal against my refusal for Tier2 Dependent visa at Mumbai.

Today, I received a phone call from a number (02266502222) of British Deputy High Commision.Unfortunately I couldn’t receive the call as I was attending an important meeting.I am since trying to contact them on the same number, spoke to an operator who had no idea who would have called me and suggested me to call the helpline (02266502181).Unfortunately nobody answers this no.

I am really worried as I might have missed some important update in regards to my appeal .Can someone please suggest how to contact someone from Bristish High Commision Mumbai office and find out why they had called me?
I have already sent an email to mumbai.visaenquiries@fco.gov.uk but received no response so far.

Any advise would be much appreciated.
Many Thanks

Received a call from the British High Commision Mumbai

There was a lady over the phone who asked me whether I had a BRP on my previous T2 ICT SHort term migrant visa or ever had any BRP ..i said no and clarified that my Tier2 ICT visa was valid until June12 and I returned to India and applied as an entry clearance to join my spouse in the UK as a Dependent...she said thanks and hung up ...

Is it normal to receive such calls from British High Commision and that too for questions regarding BRP's....i m puzzled...anyways keeping fingers crossed...hope decision turns out to be in my favour
