Hi guys

My 22 year old brother is finishing up his course at university so he is currently under a student visa

I have been supporting him and paying his fees. Now given I have bank statements to prove that he dependant on myself and my EEA partner

Any advice on this?
EEA 4 applied - 15th November 2015
COA received - 18 Jan
Application Refused: 15th of April
Appeal: 16th of April
Reconsideration Letter sent: 16th April
Reapplied EEA 4: 24th October 2016
Payment Taken: 28th October 2016
RC: 23 May 2017

You mean he has no other source of finance and lives with you? Even if you say yes, I think the fact that he did not enter the in that capacity under an EEA Permit will make your notion a complete non-starter. Good luck.

I agree that entering as a student and not family member will make any application more onerous.

well he did enter as a student but my dad retired so it was up to me to support him


So is it worth applying? or should he just go back home
