UKBA Manila processing hub for applications from Australia

Hi guys,

We sent our T2 application (+ dependent visa) off on July 19, 2012 to the Sydney GPO. I understand it takes 4 business days to be sent to Manila for processing, but does anyone know if they email you confirming the receipt of your application? Or will you just hear from them once your app has been approved/denied?
