PEO appointment rescheduled, but got reminder to mobile 2day

Hi,
I booked PEO appointment initially for 3rd Aug and later rescheduled to 31st Aug, but today I've received reminder to my mobile from UKBA saying that

Has anyone come across this?

please login again and check whether your appoint is updated or,

this is a text reminder through and application which record the appointment and send the delayed message for reminder.

Dentist also use this service.
Dont worry, just make sure online if your appointment was properly scheduled for 31 Aug

What happened in the end? I'm in a similar situation to yourself. Did you call UKBA to cancel the initial appointment?

Don't worry, I didn't call UKBA as it was having same booking reference number thought that might lead to cancellation.

I logged in my account to make sure that still have appointment showing rescheduled date.

SO what happened later? your appointment went through fine? I rescheduled appointment and got email confirmation, also on online it says rescheduled and correct date shown. But reference number remains same and I didn't receive any email confirmation cancellation of previous appointment. Is that normal?
