Tier 1 General form questions urgent!

Post by amkcukhh » Fri Aug 03, 2012 10:11 am

Hi,

I hold a 2 year long T1 general visa, which expires on September 25 2012. I am planning to apply by post. But I have some questions in the form:

Can some one tell me what needs to be filled in for:

D3. What date was the entry clearance or visa issued?
D4. Please enter the reference number on the entry clearance or visa which can be found in the applicant’s passport or travel document.

For D3: Is it the date on which the initial application was made or the the date from which the visa is valid.

Which one is the visa number? The one in red on top right or the VAF number?

For dependent visa:
L3. Reference number of the main applicant’s most recent application to us:
L4. Date of the main applicant’s most recent application to us:

What reference and date should I fill in?

All responses are highly appreciated.

Thanks! but I am still unclear on D3 What date was the entry clearance or visa issued? Is this the day when I appliead (16 July 2010) or date from which the visa is valid (26 Sep 2012)?

It's the date your EC visa is valid from. Shown on the visa vignette in your passport.

Thank you! Would they consider this for calulating my points? As my initial application was on 16 July I would need 95 points but if they consider the valid from date I'd need 100 points. Which could be a problem for me.

Point requirement will be based on your initial date of application ie 16th July 2010, so don't worry.

It's the date you submitted your application thats relevant here. I.e. 16th July 2010.

Thanks! But I do not have a proof of my initial application. Would that be a problem?
