There is no point in wasting your time on thinking about this.

You have two options:

1) Leave your application to progress as normal and get a decision once available through UKBA

2) Withdraw your current application and start over with a new one.

Hope this helps.

PS - There is no way the UKBA would change your current application on request. The UKBA would either grant you or refuse leave based on your initial application you submitted.

Thanks for your reply. In fact , my husband is 3 months shorter then to meet his 24 months (2 years) criteria for ILR – he is Tier 1 - PBS dependent.
I was thinking to apply for FLR(M) – [After getting my ILR] and then try to vary the application after 3 months if we wouldn’t receive any response from HO.

rubina20102010 I have heard of this being accepted, but I don't have the link to the information. If I find it I'll post it for you.

Edit: I've found the link! Read through the thread to a reply from our knowledgeable moderator Vinny. If you click on the words in blue these will take you through the process. This particular thread was for a member who hadn't passed the KOL test in time but the process will be the same.
Good luck.
